High-Purity Chemical Delivery Puts PFA-Lined Ball Valves in Focus

As semiconductor manufacturing processes continue to demand increasingly controlled fluid handling environments, we are seeing greater attention placed on the materials and valve solutions used throughout chemical delivery systems. High-purity process chemicals can create demanding conditions for fluid control equipment, making corrosion resistance, cleanliness and material compatibility important considerations when selecting valves and piping.

At DANPORE, we focus on developing PFA application technologies for the electronics and pharmaceutical industries. Our PFA-lined valve and piping portfolio is designed to support high-purity fluid systems, including Chemical Delivery Systems used in semiconductor fabrication facilities.

Our Flanged Manual Ball Valve forms part of this PFA-lined fluid control portfolio. It provides customers with a flanged manual valve option for applications where PFA-lined construction is required as part of a high-purity or corrosive chemical transfer system.

Semiconductor chemical delivery systems may handle strong acids, alkalis, cleaning solutions, CMP slurries, photoresists, developers and other ultra-pure media. These process materials place demanding requirements on the surfaces that come into contact with the fluid. Our steel-backed PFA-lined valves and piping are developed for these chemical delivery environments, helping us provide fluid control solutions for demanding semiconductor applications.

Clean manufacturing is also an important part of our approach. At our manufacturing base in Bengbu, Anhui, we operate three production plants covering a total area of 15,000 square meters. The facility includes a 1,500-square-meter Class 1000 cleanroom and a 200-square-meter Class 100 packaging workshop built to semiconductor manufacturing standards.

Within these controlled environments, we manufacture PFA-lined valves, fittings, hoses and solid PFA injection-molded components. Our steel-backed PFA-lined piping and valve products feature ultra-low ionic extractables and can meet G4-G5 purity grades. These products have also been applied on semiconductor mass-production lines.

For us, the development of PFA-lined valves is part of a broader commitment to high-purity fluid control technology. We established our Anhui manufacturing base in 2008 and continued developing PFA lining technologies for demanding process applications. In 2018, we introduced Class 1000 and Class 100 controlled production environments, and in 2021 we developed semiconductor-grade PFA-lined flanged diaphragm valves and pipe fittings.

Our capabilities extend from product structure design and mold development to prototyping, performance testing and mass production. By keeping these processes within our own development and manufacturing system, we can continue supporting PFA material applications for specialized fluid handling requirements.

As high-purity chemical handling becomes increasingly important in semiconductor manufacturing, we will continue focusing on PFA-lined fluid control technologies that address demanding chemical transfer environments.
